When Box Hill High School was looking for a solution to their dilapidated asphalt basketball court, Tuff Turf had the solution.
It was time for the school to ‘level out their game’!
Tuff Turf was contracted by the school to undertake the complex task of not only levelling up the playing surface but to find the solution for the underlying sub-grade issues whilst working through a landmine of services which included, high pressure gas, sewer, telecommunications, electrical, storm water and an in ground oil storage tank, all of which were within the construction footprint and requiring specialised services.
portfolio like these can be typical in the grounds of older schools but the Tuff Turf Project Team was prepared for the challenge.
After the completion of the detailed service relocation works and the installation of Tuff Turf’s CourtPRO 14 sports surface, Box Hill High School’s Assistant Principal Neil Davis has complemented Tuff Turf on an excellent project delivery and commented on how the students are now enjoying the use of their new facility.
