Acrylic Surfaces
Cutting edge surfaces for world-class sporting and outdoor purposes.
Many sports use acrylic surfaces to deliver the best possible results for athletes and participants of all ages, sizes and abilities.
Tuff Group has an exclusive agreement with the world’s leading supplier of acrylic materials, Casali. Casali’s Italian factory and manufacturing systems are renowned for leading the way in innovation, research and development.
The quality of the underlying base an acrylic surface is installed on is critically important to the finished product. Historically, many great looking surfaces from other companies have become unusable after the base they were installed on failed. For this reason, Tuff Group offers an end-to-end service to ensure that each stage of an acrylic project is delivered in the right way.
The six stages of this process are as follows:
Consultation
Before the project starts, we take the time to understand and advise on the project, often saving our clients significant time and cost. Find out more here.
Design
Our internal design team uses the most up-to-date technology to analyse local conditions and circumstances, the type of usage the facility will have and the standard required. Find out more here.
Engineering
The Tuff Group Engineering team has fully-qualified engineers with global experience. They work with the design and construction teams to ensure that the installation will not only stand the test of time, but is delivered at the optimal efficiency and cost. Find out more here.
Construction
This stage is where many projects by other companies fail. Taking shortcuts here can mean years of repairs and re-work. Tuff Group has construction teams in the field across Australia, constantly ensuring that our projects have the base that will lead to maximum life and performance of the surface. Find out more here.
Installation
There are very few significantly qualified and experienced acrylic installers in Australia. A good installer must be good at their craft, but also take into account weather and other local conditions on the day of installation. Find out more here.
Maintenance
When a surface gets used consistently, it must be maintained. This maintenance can extend the life of the surface by 20 to 30 percent, if undertaken consistently and correctly. Failure to do this, or a total lack of maintenance can see the surface underused, underperform and require expensive early replacement. Find out more here.
