School Multi Sport
Increasingly, the school environment is demanding better resources and facilities that can be used across all seasons by students and the wider community. Because Tuff Group has expertise in synthetic turf, acrylics and rubber applications, we are perfectly placed to deliver comprehensive solutions to the highest standard using our own team of internal experts.
A good example of this is the construction and installation of multi sport fields at St Kevins College in Melbourne. St Kevins was able to secure a large area of land away from the school site and planned a range of facilities, including soccer, AFL, tennis, athletics and hockey.
This work made perfect use of the wide range of skills and expertise of the Tuff Group team. Our design and engineering team ensured that all elements of the project were considered in advance of thew work commencing, while the various installation specialists were able to ensure a world class school facility that is now the centrepiece of sport at St Kevins.
After struggling for years with a lack of space and sports fields, St Kevins now has a facility that is the envy of other schools and has been recognised as one of the most significant installations in the Southern Hemisphere.
This type of project can be delivered at any size and scale across primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. St Kevins is just one of many similar projects. To hear more about this and see how Tuff Group can help develop a high quality multi-sport installation at your site, speak to National Operations Manager Travis Knight.
The Tuff Group commitment to excellence extends to our Tertiary Audit program, which is now being implemented in universities across Australia. This program helps analyse the long-term requirements for Australian Universities seeking to provide better facilities for their students.
The face of university sport is undergoing significant changes, warthog many institutions seeking to widen their offer by having high quality facilities that can be used year-round. We are now speaking to many clients who recognise that synthetic turf and acrylic options offer the opportunity for greater usage that can be used 12 months of the year.
Tuff Group is facilitating this growth by providing audits of current and possible future use. This includes consideration of new technologies and how this could extend the life of existing infrastructure or provide cost-effective replacements.
